Act as Property Book Manager for the Engineering Section. I insure all Equipment purchases that meet Property Book requirements are entered Into the property book. I conduct monthly and annual equipment inventory. I am responsible for the Quality Assurance plan for equipment currently

used in the broadcast center. I do random sampling of the contractor's completed work, create the surveillance inspection sheets and send a completed report of the surveillance results to the contract officer. In September of 2001 I found an error in the contractor's government furnished equipment and made two thousand entries in the Property Book to correct this problem. I am responsible for over twelve thousand items in Engineering Property Book. I have level II Production, Management and Quality Assurance certification from the Defense Acquisition University. As a Senior Technologist, I applied my technical knowledge in Broadcast Engineering to insure all analog/digital broadcast radio, television, and data sources, both incoming and out going met established technical criteria. Was responsible for the operation of the Spectrum entertainment automated channel on the American Forces network. I insured proper military media spots aired during commercial breaks And the media requirements for the play list were met. I provided customer service world wide for viewers of the American Forces Network. Provided technical assistance to AFRTS affiliates and viewers requesting information on AFRTS satellite location, analog/digital audio setup, frequency, polarity, azimuth and elevation. I provided AFRTS callers information on PowerVu IRD menu set-up for their specific geographical area, IRD configuration, LNB information, and general satellite antenna set-up. Supervised the day to day duties of two (2) Technologists. I also conducted monthly and annual equipment inventory.
