Required Skills, Knowledge &
Experience:

years of SAP Basis experience in multiple implementations/upgrades
?
Participated in BPC full lifecycle implementation and/or BPC upgrade project
Advanced skills in BASIS administration of ABAP and Java stacks of various SAP modules primarily SAP NetWeaver, BW, and Solution Manager.
?
Multiple full lifecycle BI/BW upgrades in complex SAP landscapes involving HANA, Linux, UNIX and SQL.
?
HANA System Copy - experience performing Homogeneous and Heterogeneous System Copies and DB migrations.
?
Experience with configuration, analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of both ABAP and Java stacks on AIX and Linux running on Oracle or HANA databases.
?
Experience managing and supporting multiple landscapes with experience in provisioning SAP applications, kernel patches, OSS notes, performing SAP System upgrades, EHP upgrades, support packs, system and client copies, system refreshes, backups and restores, security configurations and connectivity
?
Knowledge of SAP transports using CTS+
?
Strong Knowledge leveraging SAP Upgrade and Solution Manager tools for BW upgrades including
o
Product Availability Matrix (PAM)
o
SAP Quicksizer
o
Maintenance Optimizer
o
Software Update Manager (SUM)
o
SAP Enhancement Package Installer (EHpi)
?
Strong Operating System and Database Administration skills with focus on performance tuning
?
Be well versed in all the SAP tools needed to administer the various landscapes
?
Sybase IQ - experience with installing and upgrading Sybase IQ as a Near-Line Storage Solution is desired

- SAP Basis / NetWeaver certification, a plus
Additional Knowledge & Skills

Experience in administration of HANA, SLT, BI 4.0/BO 3.1 and BO Data Services

Experience integrating with LDAP and SSO.

Understanding of SAP's customizing toolset, including Implementation Management Guide (IMG).

Solid understanding of set up and architecture of SAP BW and BPC in a virtualized environment.
?
SAP OS/DB system migration certification and experience would be a plus.
?
Strong multi-tasking skills and abilities to handle changing priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Excellent problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend/lead development of solutions appropriate for our company
