Position Title : CCTV Operator needed in Memphis,TN
Location : Memphis TN
This is a possible Temp to perm position.
Role : Responsible for performing civil rehabilitation or pipe-bursting duties in a safe efficient and productive manner. Able to work assist in the job training as well as take direction from his/her foreman and crew leader.
Responsibilities :
- Work in compliance with established safety policies and procedures.
- Follow directions of crew leader and/ or foreman.
- Wears appropriate PPE at all required times.
- Uses necessary safety devices at all required time.
- Assists in civil rehabilitations or pipe bursting process.
- Help in training other employees.
- Restores service laterals/obstruction removal.
- Does site cleanup work.
- Reports to assigned location as instructed.
- Maintains required attendance.
- Operates CCTV/Cutter equipment as required in cleaning, CCTV and rehab techniques.
- Ensures proper maintenance is performed on equipment.
- Completes necessary paperwork inspection reports, DOT logs, etc.
- Smoke Testing of sewer manholes
- GPS and Mapping reading in locating manhole in the field
Qualifications :
- One to two years experience as operator in construction projects/public utilities industrial.
- Valid driver license and safe driving record.
- Specific knowledge of CCTV/Cutting equipment and operations.
- Ability to maintain equipment as specified.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues of CCTV/Cutting equipment and/ or situations.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Physical Abilities :
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds several times per day unaided.
- Ability to push 50 pounds several times per day unaided.
- Ability to climb over and into heavy equipment several times per day.
- Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 4 hours.
- Ability to bend or kneel and work with arms rose for prolonged periods.
- Ability to work around machines with moving parts and petroleum or chemical based products
in excessive heat and cold.
- Ability to wear a respirator and/or hearing protection where required.
- Ability to climb heights over 6 ft.
- Ability to enter confined spaces.
Equipment needed :
Hard Hats,Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses & Safety Vest
Salary: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour depend on experience
