Provides Cross Functional Project Management For The Pipeline Of New Product Introductions
With The Objective Of Delivering Projects On-Time, On-Spec, And On-Budget.
o Assumes ownership of assigned projects and manages them up to launch.
o Effectively applies and contributes to evergreen stage gate methodology and enforces
project standards.
o Creates and executes project scope document, work plans and timelines and revises as
appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
o Works well work cross functionally with team members and others across the company
in various locations.
o Schedule and lead regular project team meetings insuring compliance to project activity
goals and promptly issuing project team update meeting minutes.
o Identifies and obtains resources needed and defines individual responsibilities.
o Manages day-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects, balances priorities and
controls scope.
o Reviews and validates deliverables prepared by the team.
o Prepares, gathers and ensures projects & stage gate documentation is properly stored and
available for stage gate reviews.
o Identifies, mitigates and communicates any exposure and risk on projects.
o Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately in company
archives.
o Manages project budget, maintains transparency, and provide forecasts for anticipated
spending.
o Project management tools - work breakdown structure, critical path scheduling, gantt
charts, risk assessment & mitigation, conflict resolution, problem solving, team building
and brainstorming
Skills
o Financial Management -Understands Basic Revenue Models, P&L Work Ups, And
Identifies Areas Of Concern Or Opportunity, Competent In Npv, Irr, Payback Period,
Sg&A Accountability, Etc.
o Communication
o Facilitates team meetings efficiently
o Holds regular status meetings with project team.
o Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and general
corporate news.
o Effectively communicates relevant project information to proper senior managers.
o Delivers engaging, complete, succinct, informative, and well-organized
presentations.
o Resolves and/or escalates issues properly in a timely fashion.
o Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
o Literate In Ms Office Tools And Preferably In Some Product Development Tools
o Familiar With Managing Confidential Material, Contractual Reviews, Non-Disclosure
Agreements And Intellectual Property Management.
o Detail Focused But With Clear Vision To The Larger Picture And Objectives.
o Ability & Willingness To Learn And Adapt As Needed For Project Success.
o Able To Work Independently As Needed In A Goals-Oriented Environment, While
Maintaining High Standards & Ethical Conduct.
o Some Level Of Familiarity With Marketing, 4 P's, Segmentation & Analysis, Testing,
Etc.
Experience
o Experience In Consumer Packaged Goods Required, Food Packaging Strongly Preferred,
Paper Based A Real Plus.
o 5 Years Minimum As Project Manager And / Or Product Development
o 10 Years Business Experience
o Experience With Manufactured Products Is Preferred
o Stage Gate Process Experience Is Preferred
Minimum Requirements
o Undergraduate Degree Required/ Masters Preferred
o PMI Certified / Equivalent Is A Plus But Experience Can Offset
o Available For Business Travel For Trial Management And Customer Meetings As
Required, Potentially To 30%.
o Demonstrated Ability To Achieve GoalsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
