Laboratory Technician
Our client, an America Grocery Manufacturer, is seeking a Lab Technician for 10-month position located in Memphis, TN.
You will be working in a fast-paced multi-national company that is traded on the NASDAQ and would be an integral part of the corporate team.
In this role you will be responsible for the set up, operate and maintain laboratory instruments, monitor experiments, make observations, calculate and record results, and often develop conclusions.
Individual should be familiar with basic scientific principles and has had some laboratory experience.
Can follow written direction.
Has good communication skills and is computer literate.
Will perform routine chemical and possible physical analyses related testing from manufactured samples and quality research, and provide laboratory support to projects in Analytical Sciences.
Requirements:
1 year experience in a lab setting A degree in the sciences is preferred but not required Experience with biometer or a Bostwick Consistometer is a plus Experience with basic lab techniques and motivated to be trained on new techniques as the need arises Must be creative, self-directed problem solver Interpersonal communication needs Experience with Microsoft Office software - Excel, Outlook, WordHours 7:
