Purpose:
Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in the following areas of a manufacturing department; multi-level assembly, electronic card/system testing and quality assurance to attain production goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
Principle Accountabilities/Duties:
oInspires and delivers operational excellence
oDevelops and executes staffing plans to support program forecasts
oDirects operations team to deliver planned output within productivity and quality control targets.
oCoaches and Mentors Production Supervisors
oCoordinates production activities with other functional groups such as planning and engineering.
oSelects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
oMaintains world class 5S in his/her area
Job Requirements
Minimum (MUST HAVE)
Qualifications:
Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flextronics and related business. Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas; understands the strategic impact of the function across sites.
Demonstrates advanced people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills. Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site .
To perform the major job responsibilities the use of the following tools may be required: Office Skills: telephones, word processing, spreadsheet (PC), presentation and database software.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to collect data, establish facts, interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, and draw valid conclusions.
Preferred (NICE TO HAVE) Qualifications :
Experience running a high velocity reverse logistics/repair operation.
Education or Training:
Requires a bachelor degree or equivalent experience in addition to 8 years of operations experience. A Masters degree is preferred.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
