RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead in the development, implementation, communication, and maintenance of quality plans to assure compliance with customer requirements and quality system requirements.
Support daily production
Lead Quality Improvement
Support Quality Planning for new products
Manage customer relations for quality
Provide leadership to improve customer satisfaction
Provide supplier quality support
Support Quality Systems, Policies, and Procedures to maintain ISO 9001 Certification
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree; Engineering, Business or related field or ASQ, CQM
7-10 years experience in quality engineering, 3-5 years in a management role
CQM, CQE, ASQ, Lead Auditor (ISO 9001/TS 16949) certifications preferred
ISO 9001 / TS 16949 / AS-1100
Must have recent hands-on quality experience with metals; copper, aluminum, sheet metal; welding, brazing, tube bending, stamping, leak testing, fixture and tooling design
Command of Quality Planning Skills; Feasibility, Design & Process FMEA, Control Plans, FAI/PPAP
SPC, Design of Experiments, Problem Solving, Reliability engineering, Metrology/Inspection/Test, Capability Studies, APQP
Computer skills; word processing, spreadsheets, data bases, presentation
Strong management and leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Good negotiating skills
Good manufacturing processes; Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing
Some travel required

Peaceful, quiet, community setting in North-Central Mississippi. Our school district is the recipient of many awards. Cost of living well below the national average. Located minutes from a 30,000 acre lake, this area is perfect for those who enjoy boating and water sports. We are a haven for nature enthusiasts, hunters and anglers; two 18 hole golf courses. 90 minutes driving distance of two major metropolitan areas.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
