We are committed to creating a nurturing, family-like atmosphere where staff develop meaningful relationships with residents and where exceptional patient outcomes are the standard.Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Provide personal care (i.e., grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.) of residents daily and as needed.Provide bedside careAdminister medications and document therapeutic effects.Assist with resident comfort.Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.Collect samples and monitor catheters.Take TPR (temperature, pulse, & rate), blood pressure, weighing of residents, etc., as directed.Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.Other special projects and duties, as assigned.Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with current state license.Must have a current/active CPR certification.Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to lift fifty (50) or more poundsPhysical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job.Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.Able to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time.
