Senior HR Compliance Analyst

We're looking for a talented Senior HR Compliance Analyst to join our team! This means managing compliance audits, compiling data for regulatory reporting and audits, reviewing reports, and assessing risks.As a Sr. HR Compliance Analyst, you'll work closely with internal HR Partners and other Business leaders to address HR-related compliance issues. This job requires gathering data and information in response to external audits conducted by government officials. You'll support all HR compliance needs, including affirmative action planning, accreditation audits, governmental reporting, compiling data for insurance applications, workers' compensation, remote worker tracking, and other similar compliance activities. You'll be responsible for researching compliance regulations and policies, analyzing data, and preparing reports. Responsibilities:
Supports all HR compliance needs, including affirmative action planning, accreditation audits, governmental reporting, a compilation of data for insurance applications, workers' compensation, remote worker tracking, and other similar compliance activities. Develops, coordinates, and conducts training and educational programs designed to educate and support faculty, staff, postdocs, and students regarding affirmative action, accreditation audits, remote work compliance requirements, and other areas of responsibility. Collaborates with leadership to disseminate information, redesign processes, and support HR compliance programs Collaborates and coordinates with compliance partners within the department and across the institution to support overlapping compliance needs and responsibilities. Assesses compliance efforts and level of adherence for areas of responsibility by collecting and analyzing data, writing reports, maintaining records, and conducting periodic audits. Takes corrective action to improve compliance and understanding as needed. Manages the Remote Work Policy approval process for all remote work requests. Key coordinator for compliance and tracking of approved remote workforce. Ensures state and local regulations are met, including training and jurisdiction-specific employee/manager notices or posters. Regularly communicates with remote staff and leaders of remote teams to support HR programs, culture, and tracking. Creates and manages processes to ensure remote workers are documented and tracked, including maintenance of current address and telecommuting agreements. Communicate regularly with the legal office to ensure compliance with new and changing regulations. Develops a working knowledge of critical state and federal laws and guidelines of regulatory agencies for areas of responsibility, including affirmative action, DNV, FLSA, FMLA, and similar items. Maintains knowledge through continuing education efforts. Elevates systemic, critical, or urgent concerns and issues within areas of responsibility to HR leadership. Creates and runs reports, analyzes data, and creates charts, graphs, and other aids to understand data. Compiles and completes federal, state, and other regulatory reporting requirements and other assigned reporting requirements, including annual insurance renewals and similar items. Supports collection and clean-up of data for affirmative action planning and participates in all facets of the ongoing and annual process. Maintains regular and predictable attendance. Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the goals of the department and institution. Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree required Master's degree preferred Minimum
Experience:
Four years of experience in HR, compliance, or other similar field Experience validating, analyzing, and auditing data; summarizing data into useful information for others preferred Experience with MS Office products with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint preferred Experience with Workday preferred Experience with affirmative action compliance programs preferred Experience with creating, modifying, and running reports using report applications such as Workday, Power BI, Cognos, or Tableau preferred Experience creating training programs and facilitating educational sessions preferred CompensationIn recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
