1.
Conducting regular patrols of the premises to monitor for any suspicious activities or security breaches.
2.
Maintaining a visible presence to deter potential criminals and provide a sense of security to employees, residents, or visitors.
3.
Enforcing access control procedures by checking and verifying identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
4.
Responding promptly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, and taking necessary actions to resolve or mitigate the situation.
5.
Monitoring surveillance cameras, alarms, or other security systems to identify any unusual or unauthorized activities and report them to the appropriate authorities.
6.
Conducting thorough investigations of security incidents, gathering evidence, and preparing detailed incident reports.
7.
Collaborating with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, or other security personnel to coordinate responses or provide assistance when needed.
8.
Assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
9.
Providing support and guidance to employees or residents on security-related matters, including emergency evacuation procedures or personal safety tips.
10.
Conducting security awareness training sessions for employees or residents to enhance their understanding of security risks and preventive measures.
Requirements include:
1.
Extensive experience in the security industry, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
2.
Completion of relevant training programs, such as security officer training, first aid, CPR, or crisis management.
3.
Knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies, including CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm systems.
4.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to security and safety.
5.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and handle sensitive situations professionally.
6.
Strong observation skills to detect potential security threats or suspicious activities.
7.
Physical fitness and ability to perform job duties, including standing or walking for extended periods, restraining individuals if necessary, or responding to emergencies.
8.
Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under stressful or high-pressure situations.
9.
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
10.
