2K a year We are seeking highly motivated candidates for a Residential and Commercial Real Estate Paralegal position requiring 3
years of experience in the areas of commercial real estate, residential real estate, corporate law and business transactions.
Must be able to prioritize projects, have exceptional communication and organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently within a group and individually.
Compensation and benefits will be competitive and based on experience.
The essential duties and responsibilities of the Real Estate Paralegal include, but are not limited to:
Processing residential and commercial closing transactions from start to finish, working closely with Buyers, Sellers, Real Estate Agents and Brokers, Lenders, etc.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, lenders, and realtors in person and over the telephone.
Maintain client confidentiality.
Review of purchase agreements with attention to critical dates and closing conditions.
Review and preparation of closing statements and closing documents, receive and organize lender documents, coordinate closings with clients, balance files, process checks and disbursements, and process files post-closing.
Organizing and fulfilling conditions necessary to satisfy title requirements.
Monitor and manage all aspects of complex real estate transactions including loan closings and supporting attorneys as needed.
Examination of title to determine status, liens and to establish chain of title.
Qualifications:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Must be proficient in ProTrust/SoftPro, or similar software Must have excellent oral and written communication skills Must be detail-oriented Working knowledge of legal documents and how they affect title to real property Must be able to process files from start of contract until post-closing Ability to accurately prepare CDs, ALTAs, and to balance and disburse files Excellent prioritizing and multitasking skills Ability to work well in a collaborative legal team environment.
