Excelsior Defense is looking for professionally Licensed Security Guards to join our Memphis Branch! This post is a Federal Site, with paid holidays off, sick pay, and vacation pay.
Night & Weekend Leads with experience in supervision of 20 plus guards and able to be proactive during duty.
Must be able to work outdoors and the ability to patrol on foot during the course of duty.
Veterans are encouraged to apply! Must have an active Private Protective Service Unarmed Guard License.

Responsibilities Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property Apprehend criminals and evict violators Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences Report in detail any suspicious incidents Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment Perform first aid or CPR Skills Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position Valid Unarmed Security License active with the State of TN Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols Surveillance skills and detail orientation Integrity and professionalism High school degree Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
