We are currently seeking a Director, Supply Chain Operations.
The Director, Supply Chain Operations will oversee the day-to-day activities of distribution and light manufacturing operations.
This position will also oversee facilities maintenance/safety programs, ensuring the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Develops, implements, and monitors department operating policies and procedures that will ensure effective and efficient production while meeting company mission; Responsible for all distribution center activities including but not limited to receiving, put-a-way, picking, and shipping; Responsible for inventory control processes to ensure all physical locations and inventory counts are correct, stocking locations are up-to-date and properly labeled, and cycle count processes are followed; Develops and deploys operations strategies for top- and bottom-line growth initiatives; Achieves world-class performance in cost management, productivity, and efficiency through deployment of six sigma and lean processes and methodology as well as high performance leadership culture; Develops and nurtures relationships with freight carriers including service and rate negotiations and delivery and pickup schedules; Develops and implements international shipping policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements; Oversees physical warehouse facility and equipment through the DC Manager; Oversees customer satisfaction reporting, ensures concerns are investigated and communicated to affected areas of the business; Analyzes, approves, and controls expenditures of departments to conform to budgetary requirements; Holds internal and external stakeholders accountable to achieve performance and continuous improvements; Ensures cross-functional engagement and alignment with overall product catalog and vendor strategy development and deployment; Launches new manufactured products utilizing project management methods; Oversees facility maintenance and safety programs for all Kele Companies locations; Fosters, leads, motivates, and inspires individual contributors for purposes of succession planning; Maintains harmony among associates, resolves grievances; and Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or equivalent history of progressive work experience; Minimum of at least 7 years directly related work experience; Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite; Ability to use job-specific software/hardware/programs; Strong organizational and time management skills; Proven analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills; and Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
