SummaryBaptist Health Sciences University is seeking to hire an Instructor (AS) to serve as a clinical coordinator and teaching faculty for Neurodiagnostic Technology associate degree program.
This instructor's responsibilities as clinical coordinator entails the following:
1.
Organizes the planning, implementation, and assessment of the academic program's clinical activities and keeps it consistent with professional and/or healthcare current trends; 2.
Orients and mentors Clinical Faculty/Preceptors to their role, ensuring that clinical experience is conducive to student learning and promoting best practices; & 3.
Assesses the clinical education sites quality, quantity, and diversity of learning experiences to align with the educational needs of students.
As need arises, the instructor will be assigned to teach appropriate didactic courses in the associates degree program.
This instructor position is eligible for promotion in rank consideration.
Responsibilities:
Didactic classroom and laboratory instruction, planning, implementation, and assessment of the MLS curriculum.
EducationBachelor's degree required; Masters preferred.
Experience5
year clinical experience in NDT.
Licensure, Registration, Certification:
R.
EEG T.
required, multiple NDT credentials a plus.
Other Job RequirementsRelocation to Memphis, TN area required.
