Analyst-Physician Compensation - MG Executive Corporate

Summary Prepares and maintains complex accurate physician compensation plan calculations, for a large multi-speciality physician group practice, using standard financial & analytic principles.
Performs analysis and reporting on group benchmarking on physician compensation and production, and performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Creates analysis on financial and productivity data associated with physician compensation plans and associated payment calculations.

Demonstrates an ability to evaluate and maintain the proper level of data integrity with all analyses performed and with Compensation System, assigned Access data bases or report queues.

Demonstrates computer proficiency with all entity financial and business information systems including Lawson financials and payroll data, Crimson PM,, EPIC Management Dashboards and drill downs, Physician Compensation, and Access Contracting and Provider data bases.

Completes assigned goals, and coordinates special projects associated with Physician Compensation, Quality, and Compliance.

Familarity with and ability to utilize all business and financial systems for analytics and reporting.
Requirements, Preferences and Experience Education Preferred:
BBA in focus area of Finance, Health Care Administration or actuarial sciences.
Minimum:
Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Experience Preferred:
2 years progressive experience in financial analysis or decision support areas.
Knowledge of payment or compensation mechanism impacting physician group practices very beneficial.
Minimum:
Minimum of 2 years business experience.
Some knowledge in financial, accounting or decision support areas.
Special Skills Preferred:
Prefer expertise in accessing data from healthcare financial and practice management systems to download for analysis, and projections in Excell, use of Access Data Base Management system a plus.
Minimum:
Experience with MicroSoft Office products, strong skill set with Excell, Powerpoint and Word.
