Sourcing Integration (Vendor Management) Analyst
COOK SYSTEMS has an immediate need for a Sourcing Integration Analyst to help with Vendor Management.
Hybrid-Remote (3 days onsite)
Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Vendor Management Engagement function providing customer service to internal and external partners, analyzing metrics and processes and supporting both run the business and new development opportunities.
Areas of work include but are not limited to vendor contract terms, vendor engagement opportunities, reporting performance and communication, identifying opportunities for improvement that align to the Enterprise Vendor Engagement Strategy.
Responsibility Statements:
Provides assistance to perform analytical capabilities to support vendor engagement opportunities.
Communicates regularly about delivery, solutions, status, and related issues to management through both formal and informal presentations; provide recommendations from findings to achieve desired delivery results or identify areas of improvement.
Engages with vendor partners to address challenges and issues related to core vendor engagement owned efforts, communicating updates, metrics and mitigating risk.
Speaks on behalf of company stakeholders in discussion and identification of alternative solutions for vendor engagement issues and assists in resolution to meet defined organization objectives.
Gains understanding of challenges with operations, policies and processes, document and report to management providing options for resolution and improvement.
Primary POC for daily resolution of vendor management owned issues including simple execution changes and those requiring research and analytics.
This includes partnership with impacted stakeholders to ensure vendor issues are resolved.
Analyzes company needs and assists management team as they formulate/define scope and objective of assigned projects and solutions; consults with management to obtain delivery guidance, determine root cause of issue and resolve.
Serves as first point of escalation for vendor issues and driving to resolution related to identified work areas.
These areas include but are not limited to vendor policies and contracts, vendor communications, vendor requirements and overall vendor engagement.
