8K a year Manufacturing Accountant - Ebrofrost Principal
Responsibilities:
Responsible for collection, input and analysis of Plant production and operational accounting data, on a daily and monthly basis Compile and present internal plant performance reporting to plant management Receive, match, and code plant invoices, prepare new vendor requests and resolve accounts payable issues as needed Conduct the plant month-end close, prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Analyze total plant expenditures including comparison to budgets Prepare and present monthly results to senior leadership, in conjunction with the Plant Manager Assist in physical inventories including but not limited to counting, analysis, reconciliation, and reporting Research and construction of the annual manufacturing budget and subsequent updates, in conjunction with plant leadership Coordination of office administrative functions including but not limited to office equipment, phones, supplies, etc.
Any other tasks as assigned by the Regional Controller, Plant Manager, or other members of Senior Leadership Construct bills of material and routings/recipes for new items Assure compliance with traditional GAAP practices and internal controls; especially as they relate to inventory Education BS/BA Accounting or Business Administration Work Experience 3 - 5 years of related accounting experience Strong cost background in a manufacturing environment preferred Experience with a fully integrated ERP system such as SAP Skills and Abilities Strong analytical & problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of accuracy Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision Advanced Windows, PowerPoint, and Excel skills required Spreadsheet, database, and other automated reporting systems Office environment with regular exposure to manufacturing plant environment Job Type:
