Summary:
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for proactively ensure the quality of work is maintained as defined in ServiceMaster Facilities Maintenance's policies, procedures, and work instructions by conducting planned and unannounced inspections at our client facilities.
We are looking for a road warrior.
Company car, gas card, laptop, cell phone, and a company credit card will be offered.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
- Develop and/or maintain, and implement quality procedures, and safety policies and procedures, based upon contract requirements and any applicable Corporate and/or statutory/regulatory requirements pertinent to the site.
Measure, monitor and analyze the processes and implement actions necessary to meet goals and drive continual improvement.
- Comply with the site/contract environmental program which includes environmental site assessments, facility inspections and hazardous waste control in accordance with state, federal and regulatory environmental requirements.
- Positively promote the health, safety and well-being among staff and facility occupants.
Provide onsite employee training and investigate all employee work related accidents and incidents and implement corrective action to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct quarterly reviews to ensure employees are following PPE guidelines, properly handling hazardous, undiluted cleaning materials.
- Meets with client onsite and maintains a positive relationship.
- Maintain client relationships by consistent contact by phone and in-person visits.
- Completes inspections and seeks client's approval with a signature.
- Conduct audits for contract compliance using designated systems to ensure compliance with all contractual requirements.
- Assess and develop methods to best leverage best practices.
- Conduct performance audits and a plan to correct identified shortcomings.
- Assist with the ongoing training of Quality and other relevant personnel, as necessary.
- Communicates audit findings and corrective action plans to appropriate leadership.
- Perform initial walk-throughs with our janitorial teams.
- Work with staff onsite to address and resolve concerns and incidents.
- Perform other qualified duties as assigned.
- Will handle work orders, customer requests, and train cleaners in basic cleaning procedures.

- Must possess computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Associates degree - Knowledge of commonly used janitorial concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Experience with safety regulations and standards; root cause analysis; data analysis; and preventive/correction action.
- Three (3) to five (5) years' experience working with audits.
- Janitorial industry experience of 3 years.
- Excellent Driving record USE OF EQUIPMENT:

- Light vacuum (upright or backpack) - Heavy vacuum - Buffing machine (side-to-side) - Burnisher - Automatic scrubber - Pressure washer - Carpet cleaning machines (scrubbers and extractors) - Wet vac - Brooms and mops LIFTING REQUIREMENTS:
The typical lifting requirements of this position.
Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
This is considered a medium lifting required position.
