7 Full-time 11 hours ago Full Job Description Department Mimeo Photos Operations Employment Type Full Time Location Memphis, TN Workplace type Onsite To complement our rapidly growing business we are seeking a bright and highly motivated Quality Technician.
This position will be responsible for auditing processes and generating reports that are used to run our photo business.
Key Responsibilities Perform basic statistical analysis on data and determine improvement opportunities.
Lead process improvement projects Incoming Quality Control Research customer complaints Generate daily quality reports Conduct process audits Collect and log data from IPQC, OBA and Reprints Daily updating of Photo-production boards Document control.
SOP and quality records retention Record and publish Photo audit data results.
Coach employees as needed regarding quality issues Other tasks as assigned Skills Knowledge and Expertise High School Diploma or GED required Six months experience in a printing environment preferred Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other Quality methodology Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Thorough knowledge of all binding processes and equipment Must be able to work under deadlines and pressure to meet goals.
Good communication and comprehension skills - including written and verbal.
Must be dependable; have the ability to work overtime with little or no notice Team-oriented and flexible; goal-oriented; capable of multitasking PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to lift up to 50lbs.
