Quick Apply Full-time 9 hours ago Full Job Description We are looking to add a Quality Control Support Specialist to our production management team.
Duties would include:
Verify accuracy, quality, and quantity of ingredients or each spice, batter, breading, and sauce blend (25 lbs to 1400 lbs blend sizes) prior to blending.
After blending, verify quality (texture, color, etc.
) of blends prior to transfer to packaging and sauce cooking departments.
Verify quality of finished product (packaging component accuracy, fill and label weight accuracy, correct blend and label match, labeling accuracy, finished product cleanliness and presentation, proper packing to avoid damage during transit, order count accuracy for invoicing) prior to shipping.
After initial training and mastering of above tasks, additional duties related to SQF (Safe Quality Foods Requirements for Certification), GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), GDP (Good Documentation Practices) and SSOP's (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures may be added after time study evaluation.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree (preferred) or equivalent job-related experience Requirements:
Handling of boxes of bottles and bags up to 50 lbs.
