1 4 hours ago Full Job Description Summary Responsible for the planning, implementation and controls of the Linen Services operation regarding all finishing production functions, outbound shipment, on-time delivery and accounting productive measures.

Education/Experience/Licensure Education/Formal Training Work Experience Credential/Licensure REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two (2) years of experience in an institutional laundry.

N/A N/A N/A Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Supervisory knowledge of personnel management principles commensurate with experience.
Knowledge of laundry production and linen distribution procedures commensurate with experience.
Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment.
Basic computer skills such as e-mail and basic word processing preferred.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Key Job Responsibilities Plans, organizes, implements and controls Linen Services operations to meet departmental goals and objectives to ensure JCAHO and other quality and regulatory standards are met, including receiving and inventory standards.
Supervises all finishing production functions and outbound shipments to ensure the work is completed, the complete order is on the trailer, and the trailers are correct and out in a timely manner to meet on time delivery targets.
Develops and implements Transportation work schedules, routing and assignments.
Develops and implements processes through orientation, training, and education.
Promotes the flow of information by establishing, utilizing, and maintaining effective communication systems.
Supervises the gathering of production accounting data to ensure the accurate measurement of productivity in assigned department.
Supervises and directs the workflow and production assignments to ensure the most effective and efficient use of resources.
Directs department based quality monitoring and evaluation activities and implements measures to ensure that hospital, JCAHO and other quality standards are met.
Promotes the flow of information by establishing, utilizing, and maintaining effective communications systems within and outside the department.
Hires, develops, and retains a competent, productive, and quality conscious staff.
Develops and implements processes through orientation, training, and education to ensure that the competence of all staff members is assessed, maintained, improved, and demonstrated throughout their employment.
Physical Requirements The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
Must have good balance and coordination.
The physical requirements of this position are:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
