Duties and
Responsibilities:
Works independently and often without direct supervision while serving as the Administrative Budget Officer. Plans, develops, monitors, and executes actions required to manage the District Offices' (DO) fiscal budget, awards, pay, travel, and administrative programs under the general direction of Manager for Operations Support Staff (OSS), or the District Manager. Uses appropriate automated budget tools such as REGIS and DELPHI to allocate, track, reconcile and report the status of funds. Works closely with first level managers and support personnel providing guidance and oversight to assist them with their local budgets. Applies experience and detailed knowledge to accomplish assignments. Interprets guidelines and provides District Office Management (DOM) or Operation Support Staff Manager with advice and counsel on the operation of those programs. Serves as the liaison between the Operations Support Staff, District Office, System Support Center (SSC), and Regional Service Center to accomplish assigned functions. To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to FV-F (FG/GS 5/7/9) in the Federal Service.Examples of Specialized Experience include, but are not limited to:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
