Resource Management Officer

If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing a variety of administrative functions as the Resource Management Officer in the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Tennessee. Typical work assignments will include (but it is not limited to):
Supervising staff by planning the work to be accomplished, setting goals and priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work. Assisting the Administrative Officer with budget formulation, presentation and execution through the fiscal year. Providing oversight and assistance to District management in the development of budget requests. Overseeing the collection and maintenance of obligation control data for all administrative and litigation expenses for the office, and the preparation of budgetary reports. Assessing the adequacy of the existing human resources program. Providing technical assistance and solutions to issues within Human Resources administration. Overseeing the administration of support services for the District in the areas of printing and reproduction, supply management, building and equipment maintenance, space management, property management, records storage and disposal, and/or other miscellaneous support services. GS-13:
To qualify, candidates must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as:
1) managing a financial management program to include developing short and long-range budgets and exercising full authority for controlling and authorizing the expenditure of funds allocated for various budgets AND 2) supervising professional staff or leading projects in the areas of budget and/or human resources management and/or support services. Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
