Account Manager

We are seeking an Account Manager to oversee the day to day management of key advertising accounts. The responsibilities include communicating with customers about campaign performance, optimization strategies, scale of budget, billable stats and technical issues as well as cross-selling other company products and services when applicable. Our ideal candidate is well-organized, has superior written and verbal communication skills, is detail-oriented and knowledgeable of digital performance based marketing procedures. The AM should exemplify a positive attitude and ability to understand the needs and culture of the Company as well as the advertisers they manage. A strong candidate is a calculated thinker - intuitive to both customer and company needs and capabilities. They are able to firmly set internal and external expectations and prioritize opportunities brought forth by our Sales and Product groups.

Job Functions:
Develop, manage and report on individual and team sales pipeline aligned to the achievement of quarterly revenue goals for the company.
Update and create sales proposals, pitches, presentations, weekly sales pipeline updates and reports.
Ensure campaign and program execution against key performance indicators, in partnership with Account Management, Ad Ops and Product Management teams.
Represent advertiser and sales perspective on new product improvements with product teams and review meetings.
Responsible for the expansion of ad sales efforts across its consumer digital marketing services by generating new advertiser relationships
Self-starter who is pro-active in driving revenue, increasing their client base and account retention
The Solicitation and recruitment of new advertisers across various consumer verticals through cold calling, emailing, and face-to-face meetings

Skills/Experience
BA/BS degree required
2-5 years experience as Account Manager at a top Online Marketing Company or Agency
Proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships.
Online Lead Generation and/or Mobile Advertising experience a plus.
Strong work ethic. Skilled at prioritizing and managing time.
Embraces and encourages a culture based on team work, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity.
Conduct research, follow-up on leads, track opportunities, and cold call to engage media partners / clients and set-up partnerships
Establish deep relationships and build trust from both clients and media partners. Navigate past junior contacts to also form deep relationships with more senior client contacts
Strong knowledge of performance marketing and CPL/CPA advertising a must
Proven track record of success managing and scaling accounts through the development of long-term strategic relationships
Online Lead Generation experience a plus
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
