Marketing Assistant - Temporary Project

MCR Safety has an assistant position available for our Marketing department. The Assistant will work a part-time project-based assignment that will last approximately a year primarily assisting the department with gathering, organizing and processing leads. Excellent organization skills, listening skills and the ability to follow directions and work independently are ideal for the successful candidate.
Part-time hours are approximately 2 days a week and 4 to 6 hours both days. As the assignment progresses, more hours may be added.
Essential Functions, Duties and
Responsibilities:
Create a comprehensive lead management program for leads generated from printed advertising, tradeshow attendance, Buy & Try program, and other sources.
Complete transaction from product exposure to fulfillment of order at Distributor level. May include tracking incoming leads, processing to appropriate distributor, and follow-up to determine success of lead.
Compiling and analyzing effectiveness of printed, electronic, and end user advertising/exposure
Other duties as assigned to include but not limited to:
Engage in Social media activities to enhance and grow our exposures
Manage competitive advertising database
Assist with inventory management of vending trailer
Assist with inventory management of employee store
Assist at end user events (potential over-night or weekend travel)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to professionally correspond with customers and end users via written or verbal communication.
MS Excel spreadsheet for tracking and following up on leads
MS Word to create correspondence and merge with Excel spreadsheet
MS Outlook to send correspondence and communicate with customers
High attention to detail and organization skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
