Under general supervision, plans and executes product strategy development, product support, pricing and/or promotional initiatives.
The FedEx Alliance Marketing team has an opening for a Marketing Specialist responsible for growing relationships with key alliance partners and executing marketing programs to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth. Alliance Marketing develops and manages alliance relationships with well recognized companies and trade associations (across industry segments such as e-commerce, Retail, Manufacturing, Distribution, corporations etc.) to acquire customers and generate revenue from the small business customer segment in a cost-effective manner. The programs offer customers/members of partner organizations attractive benefits including, pre-approved discounts on select products and services. Alliance Marketing promotes and grows these alliance offerings via multi-channel, co-branded marketing efforts that leverage partners and FedEx's brand and marketing channels.
Specific duties for the Marketing Specialist position include:
Leveraging FedEx and alliance partner channels to execute marketing campaigns that drive new customer acquisition and incremental revenue growth
Effectively manage and grow key partner relationships to maximize alliance partner engagement and program effectiveness
Planning, developing, implementing, and measuring multi-channel customer acquisition and activation programs and tactics geared at driving customer enrollment and revenue growth from Alliance programs
Work closely with partners to develop and execute joint marketing plans to drive acquisition and activation
Use analytical insights to drive improved targeting, profitable growth, and improved marketing effectiveness
Effectively manage key vendor/partner relationships and cross-functional teams to ensure successful program management and execution
Enhance and refresh Alliance strategy and Customer Acquisition strategy; including assessment of new alliance value propositions and alternative acquisition models
Review alliance performance metrics, developing and implement tactics to improve or maintain performance
The ideal candidate will have:
Demonstrated relationship building and strong collaboration and communications skills across multiple audiences, and organizational levels
Strong initiative, creativity, flexibility, planning, thought leadership, teamwork and problem solving skills
Experience in managing vendor/partner relationships and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project management and execution
Experience in developing and implementing customer acquisition and activation strategies and initiatives
Experience managing projects/programs/relationships that support corporate goals and/or drive revenue growth
Experience in planning, developing, implementing, and measuring multi-channel marketing programs and tactics, across traditional channels such as direct mail and email as well as digital/online/search/mobile and social channels
Experience extracting information from data sources such as Market View and expertise in analyzing the information and developing actionable insights
Experience in using analytical insights to drive improved targeting, profitable growth, and improved marketing effectiveness
Ability to travel if requested

This position will be located in Memphis, TN. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Marketing, Computer Science, Finance or related business discipline
Two (2) years' work experience in marketing, sales administration or advertising
Experience in market research, pricing, forecasting and financial analysis
Good basic quantitative and analytical skills
Good organizational skills
Strong human relations and communication skills
Customer focused orientation
A related advanced degree equals two years' experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
