Position Overview
Responsible for architecture, design and development of enterprise business intelligence and
data warehouse solutions. Collaborate with Business and IT to ensure the assessment of
business requirements, collection and identification of technical specifications, and the
subsequent development of solutions to enable reporting and access to information support
corporate goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
1. Provides technical oversight to the architectural development of business intelligence (BI)
and enterprise data warehouse (EDW) solutions utilizing BI solutions (e.g., Tableau,
Qlikview, Microsoft SSRS) and extract/transform/load (ETL) tools (e.g., Cognos Data
Manager, Microsoft SSIS). Performs development tasks as needed.
2. Gathers and analyzes detailed business requirements for complex projects and translates
business needs into detailed functional and technical implementation plans for long-term
BI solutions.
3. Collaborates with IT subject matter experts and business owners to facilitate the
development of BI/EDW designs and implementation in production.
4. Configures and optimizes BI/EDW environment with relational and OLAP layers and data
migration components in collaboration with the BI/EDW team.
5. Defines, designs and develops BI and ETL framework models, semantic layers and
metadata repositories to support reporting, distribution and administration.
6. Troubleshoots BI/EDW environment problems and calibrates for performance. Diagnoses
and resolves application resource constraints and performance issues. Defines and
enforces coding standards, design styles and best practices.
7. Provides BI/EDW subject matter expertise, continuously evaluates new trends and
technologies, and coordinates BI/EDW training and documentation.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field and 7-10 years of information
technology experience in enterprise architecture required, or an equivalent combination
f education and experience
Experience leading, developing, and implementing large-scale transition to enterprise
information architecture including application development, integration and data
integration/data exchange
Experience and proficiency with industry leading BI and ETL tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlikview,
Microsoft SSRS, Cognos Data Manager)
Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) credential preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Advanced knowledge of business intelligence solutions, dimensional data warehouses and
related concepts
Knowledge of dimensional data modeling techniques, data warehousing design and
concepts, balanced scorecard design, and design of dashboards and KPIs
Knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, technologies, architecture and resources
Organizational, project and process management skills
Skill and ability to analyze, consolidate and communicate technically complex concepts
Written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentations
Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and attention to detail

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
