AutoZone Web developers are responsible for developing and maintaining Web applications that provide customers with a positive user experience. The focus of Web Developers is to increase sales and customer retention through ongoing improvements of the companies Web sites and Web applications for which we are responsible.
Skills:
Expert HTML/CSS/JavaScript coder
Expert coder with JSTL or other Web scripting language such as PHP
Some experience with JSP/Java development a plus
Ability to think like a designer is a plus - shown by a Web design portfolio
Responsibilities:
Work with teams from other departments (IT/Marketing/Web Development) to develop site pages that drive traffic and revenue
Develops site pages and maintains multiple sites
Prepares code for weekly deployment and works with QA to ensure thorough testing of code
Works under the direction of the Sr. Web Developer and Manager, Web Development
Focused on page level coding
Position Requirements
Experience:
Three to five years of experience in Web development
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Communications, Design, or Marketing
