This position will support Human Resources for a 400 person manufacturing site.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews - Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures - Assist with employee relations by addressing questions and concerns, and providing guidance on HR-related matters - Support HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management, training and development, and employee engagement programs - Coordinate employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations - Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping using Paychex or Paylocity systems - Conduct research on HR best practices and assist with the implementation of new HR programs - Assist with organization design efforts to optimize efficiency and effectiveness Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human resources principles and practices - Experience with HRIS systems such as iCIMS, Paychex, Paylocity, or Ceridian - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Ability to work independently and as part of a team This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of human resources.
