Decision Support Analyst II

The Comprehensive Cancer Center at St.
Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a Decision Support Analyst II to lead reporting projects and provide analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data from a variety of sources to drive decision-making related to our strategic priorities and Center programs.
Our mission is to advance research and cures for children with cancer.
Working in the Office of the Cancer Center Director/Executive Vice President, you will have the opportunity to contribute to this mission as part of a high-performing team while working on executive-level priorities; leading reporting projects; supporting critical reporting requirements for the Center's National Cancer Institute (NCI) designation; building professional relationships; contributing new ideas in an open and engaging environment; and pursuing your professional development goals.

The Cancer Center has a growing portfolio and this newly created position will have diverse responsibilities related to data analysis supporting current initiatives, defining and implementing key metrics for the Center's priorities, and developing and managing new reporting projects, processes and initiatives as opportunities arise.
This position is based in Memphis, TN; relocation assistance is available.
Responsibilities:
Lead reporting projects.
Work with team members and stakeholders to identify business and reporting needs, including key project metrics.
Define, develop, and implement solutions for key project metric reporting.
Translate business and reporting needs into technical requirements and interface with institutional business partners such as Analytics to leverage institutional data systems for reports and metrics.
Build or enhance processes for data retrieval from institutional systems for reports and metrics; identify opportunities and improvements.
Design, develop, and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and tracking tools for data collection, analysis, and evaluation of activities and programs to meet Cancer Center strategic goals and objectives.
Summarize, present, and provide feedback on key findings in spreadsheet and/or slide presentation form to stakeholders; document sources, definitions, methodologies.
Mine data and turn raw data into logical information for reporting.
Build internal and external relationships and leverage professional networks for problem solving and best practice identification.
Develop high quality, impactful dashboards using charts, graphs, drilldown, navigation and other data visualization techniques.
Prepare and review charts, tables, graphs, visualizations, and other exhibits for use in reports and executive presentations.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in related field (e.
g.
, computer science, data science, information science, business, health information/administration) required.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum
Experience:
Minimum requirement:
2
years' experience in the design of databases and ETL processes preferably in comparable industry.
Exception:
Master's degree with experience in the design of databases and ETL processes.
Experience with developing and maintaining reports and metrics in EXCEL or other applications.
Some experience with enterprise reporting tools for development of reports as applicable.
Some experience creating dashboards using data visualization tools (e.
g.
PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, and data warehousing applications) as applicable.
Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.
g.
Agile, Waterfall, CI/CD).
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Experience presenting key project metrics to team, stakeholders, and leadership preferred.
Experience working in an NCI-designated cancer center, a research organization, or a healthcare environment preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
