Sr. Oracle PL/SQL Back-End Developer- Memphis- Hybrid
We are seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer who works independently or under only general direction on complex problems which require competence in all phases of programming concepts and practices.
Working from diagrams and charts which identify the nature of desired results, processing steps to be accomplished and the relationships between various steps of the problem-solving routine; plans the full range of programming actions needed to efficiently utilize the computer system in achieving desired end products.
Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement distributed applications as part of a systems development team.
Provide feedback on and adhere to delivery dates.
Be the go-to for ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes.
Have a solid understand of Messaging technologies, including IBM MQ and Kafka.
Provide end-user support as a technical expert.
Analyze, design, develop and test Oracle PL/SQL applications that enhance customer's operations through the dissemination of pertinent and relevant information in a timely and efficient manner.

Oracle PL/SQL Developer will perform and have the following duties, roles, and/or
Responsibilities:
Develop and revise program code based on clearly or loosely defined requirements.
Be the go-to for ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes.
Have a solid understand of Messaging technologies, including IBM MQ and Kafka.
Prepares documentation of program development, modifications to code as needed.
Draft test plans for system tests, integration test, and stress tests.
Test all functionality of applications based on test plan.
Assist in the implementation of applications into production.
Analyze system capabilities to resolve input/output problems.
Must be able to communicate effectively, work in a team environment and think analytically.
Perform maintenance on programs currently in production.
Develop and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures and functions.
Provide programming direction as necessary to lower level programmers as appropriate to position level.
Develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle partitions to enhance performance of application.
Assist QA teams with writing test scripts and explaining functionality.
Assist/mentor Dev team with Unit Testing and best practicesBe a member of on-call rotation for after hours and weekend Minimum Requirements US Citizen or Green Card Holder and must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Management or equivalent.
10 Years Min.

SQL, Oracle PL/SQL Should be able to do Performance Tuning and Optimization of SQL statements and PL/SQL packages/stored procedures.
Should be able to create and maintain ETL Processes across different environments and/or programming languages Experience developing on Linux platform Experience developing Unix shell scripts Experience in Python, Java, or Javascript 10 years of progressively more complex programming experience in large scale information system environments Experience in a CD/CI enterprise development environment Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Desired Skills Experience with Oracle insertion of high-volume data Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology Experience with code versioning tools, such as GIT Experience developing on multiple platforms including Windows and Linux Experience with Azure or AWS cloud services Strong unit testing and debugging skills Experience working with GIS technologies such as ESRI ArcGIS Knowledge of Transportation Industry Ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment where a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
