Summary:
Responsible for estimating job costs; preparing bid proposals; contact vendors for material pricing assist with daily office duties; be proficient in Microsoft Office (i.

excel, word, etc.
), and other trade related take offs.
Key
Responsibilities:
Ability to create a detailed excel spreadsheet for bidding purposes.
Calculate accurate material and labor quantity takeoff Interpret plans and specs accurately to produce material and labor takeoffs Submit estimate proposals with specific attention to deadlines Follow up on submitted proposals Maintain communications with prime contractors & sub-contractors.
New customer development within millwork industry:
seek out relationships with general contractors and architects.
Represent the company with professionalism and integrity Work effectively in fast paced environment under pressure and bid deadlines Travel is minimal but attendance to some local job site meetings or pre-bid walk thru are required.
Perform other office duties utilizing Microsoft office.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$50,000.
00 - $80,000.
00 per year Schedule:
8 hour shift Monday to Friday Education:
