1 9 hours ago Full Job Description Summary Responsible for unit/department based clinical orientation and provision of clinical in-service training for new and current clinical Associates.
Responsible for unit or department-based assessment, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs that enhances the performance or professional development of the unit/department's Associates.
Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.
Education/Experience/Licensure Education/Formal Training Work Experience Credential/Licensure REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Allied Health field.
At least 3 years general experience Registered Nurse or other Allied Health Professional with current license to practice within his/her clinical profession in the state where work is performed.
Effective June 1, 2018:
All new hires and transfers are required to have BLS certification.
PREFERRED:
Master's Degree in Nursing or Allied Health field.
Atleast 3 years teaching experience National specialty certification in either nursing, allied health, or professional development SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED:
N/A N/A N/A Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge and skill in clinical care.
Proficiency in a specialized clinical field.
Key Job Responsibilities Coordinates an individualized orientation for all new unit/department Associates.
Plans and implements standardized learning activities to meet the needs of all levels of clinical Associates.
Serves as a role model/change agent to promote professional and technical development of Associates.
Provides consultative services to internal and external customers.
Integrates relevant research outcomes into learning activities.
Physical Requirements The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
Must have good balance and coordination.
The physical requirements of this position are:
medium work - exerting up to 50lbs.

The Associate is required to have close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform an activity, such as assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact.
Exposure to patient body fluids as well as exposure to hazardous or poisonous materials.
Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
Frequent travel outside hospital.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
