To provide assistance to customers on delivery information and resolutions to service complaints; to communicate with customers experiencing service or delivery problems and to resolve the problems to the customer's satisfaction through researching, monitoring package movement through to delivery, and/or providing the necessary remedy to the customer's complaint.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide global tracking and tracing of inquiries and complaints on shipments providing shipper, recipient, or other party with regular status reports until complaint is resolved. Assumes ownership of problems to completion.
Initiates follow-up actions as needed, such as credits/refunds, claim research, expediting and other measures to minimize the impact of service failures to the customer.
Provides assistance to other company personnel by assuming ownership of exception situations on their behalf and taking necessary steps to resolve the situation.
Identifies and reports to management, via formal or informal processes, existing or potential package/system problems and inconsistencies such as service failures trends, improper operations procedures, security problems (thefts and losses) and/or any agent problems.
Works with brokers, forwarders and clearance units to coordinate the shipment/documentation movement for those shipments held by customs and resolves procedural problems.
Identifies potential delays/service failures, notifies customers and other operations and provides assistance/intervention to avoid, correct or minimize the adverse effects of the delay/failure.
This position will support the International Trace network. International Trace handles customer package trace calls for US import and export.

Shift
9:00AM-5:30PM Monday- Friday
The position requires attending a 6 week mandatory training session.
Ideal Knowledge/Skills and Experience include:
Strong customer service problem resolution experience
Experience working in an inbound/outbound call center (heavy customer contact)

High school diploma/G.E.D.
Four (4) years' experience in a heavy customer contact environment
Must possess good pc skills and a thorough knowledge of windows based applications
Strong written and oral (telephone) communication skills
Willingness to work different shifts and weekends/holidays based on business needs
Ability to work variable shiftsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
