Position
Summary:
Develops, implements & manages community outreach and retention strategies to achieve marketing and retention goals by focusing on member education, outreach and orientation.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Engage members to mitigate disenrollment, resolve complex member issues, and assist in accessing correct care.
Create opportunities with events and presentations to reach and educate the community on company programs.
Establish and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and churches and acts as resource for organizations interested in company programs.
Establish and maintain relationships and execute growth and retention strategies with providers within assigned territories.
Conduct community based new member intake and orientation.
Measure and track results through score carding and identify root causes that will enable assigned retention targets to be met within assigned area.
Deliver presentations, attends meetings, and distributes educational materials to member and non-members.
Meet and present to county and community officials.
Develop and manage area budget.
Job Qualifications
Requires BA/BS degree in gerontology, sociology, psychology, social work, public health, nursing or other related discipline, 5 years related experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Requires exceptional networking and negotiations skills, and strong public speaking/presentation skill, and previous consumer marketing and/or grassroots/community outreach experience. Bilingual in English/Korean or English/Chinese preferred.
