OVERVIEW
Responsible for the leadership of Group Leaders and individual associates on the manufacturing floor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, coordinate and direct the activities of a manufacturing production area. Supervise employees in assembly of mechanical units and fabricated parts. Supervise the fitting, alignment, calibration and adjustment of parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements. Maximize productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree or equivalent experience
5
years of experience in a high volume-manufacturing environment
2
years in a supervisory role
Experience supervising 50
associates
Demonstrated leadership skills
Excellent communication, planning, organizing and problem solving skills
LOCATION
Peaceful, quiet, community setting in North-Central Mississippi. Our school district is the recipient of many awards. Cost of living well below the national average. Located minutes from a large lake, this area is perfect for those who enjoy boating and water sports. We are a haven for hunters, anglers, and nature enthusiasts; two 18 hole golf courses. 90 minutes driving distance of two major metropolitan areas.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
