Basic Purpose-Perform activities to support all aspects of shipping & receiving work to ensure timely delivery of inbound freight and to schedule incoming goods against known capacities. Activities include data entry of shipping/receiving information, preparation and distribution of related reports, or file/record maintenance.

Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ensure driver's packets are ready for distribution
Pull all empty paper from crates
Keying weight verification of weight
Ensuring catch weights are correct
Send order selectors a message to come pick-up shorts
Weights and shorts are out of the box in a timely manner
Routes are released in a timely manner
Ensure shuttles depart in a timely manner (if the picks for the route are complete)
Regular routes depart on time (if the picks for the route are complete)
Tickets (labels) are stacked of out the box and in order, placed in cooler, freezer, and dry box as the labels print thru-out the night
Make sure the order selectors have work (pending routing & truck building)
Look-up/research shorts for releasing routes
Maintaining a good interpersonal working relationship with other hourly associates, managers and supervisors is required.

Qualifications
Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Related Experience : A minimum of one year experience with warehouse & delivery procedures required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities : Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally, have excellent telephone skills, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, basic computer skills, and good analytical skills. Must be able to resolve problems and prioritize workload.
