SAIC has a job opening for a Web Applications Developer to work at our customer site in Memphis, TN.
Job Description:
The Web Applications Developer will maintain and enhance existing database and web applications using predominantly Microsoft based web and database technologies. This position also requires the ability to develop new applications as requested by the client. The Web Applications Developer must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and will develop software in web-based environments. The Web Applications Developer will interface with end-users, designers and management on a regular basis so interpersonal skills are a must. The candidate is expected to have the analysis skills to solve problems.
The Web Applications Developer will work closely with the Application Team Lead to understand the business and functional requirements. Applications and Website projects. The Web Application Developer will work with the client liaisons to maintain and enhance their applications. Create technical design documents. Develop Microsoft SQL 2008 database and .Net middle-tier objects. Develop user interface utilizing the latest .Net technologies. Assist with the deployment of the application.
Qualifications:
Required Education and
Experience:
Bachelor''s degree in related technical discipline and 4
years experience. An additional 5 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
Required Skills/
Experience:
4 years proficiency with C#, and .Net Framework 3.5/4.0
Proficiency in writing T-SQL code, ETL, SSIS in Oracle and SQL Server 2005/2008
environment including complex stored procedures
Strong working knowledge of IIS
3 years professional experience developing new medium to large .Net applications and services using WCF, 3 or 4
Experience launching websites and web applications
Professional communications ability
Desired Skills/
Experience: In addition to those skills and experience listed above, knowledge/experience of the following is a plus:
DNN (Dot Net Nuke)
Website CMS (Content Management Systems)
Experience in mobile development (Responsive Websites) is a STRONG plus
Working with a graphics team to construct wireframes
Modification of HTML5/CSS templates
