The Manager of Architecture Back Office Systems will be a critical part as a technical resource deployed within the context of business technology solution delivery projects to ensure overall stability and performance of our world class websites.

What will I be doing?
The Manager of Architecture Back Office Systems will drive internal and external technology experts and vendors in deep dive architecture reviews, make technical development and design decisions to ensure the optimal outcome. The Team Member will leverage strong technical expertise and analytical skills, the Architect will work closely with Build Managers, Enterprise Architects and cross-functional teams to assess the architectural impact of business requirements on underlying Hilton Worldwide technology capabilities and platforms, identifying risks and issues with mitigations.
Other key priorities are listed below:
Provide leadership in delivery of project and initiatives
Lead initiatives through the standard methodology from project approval to deployment
Lead internal and external partners in strategy and/or project initiation, architecture, requirements analysis, design, project management and systems integration activities
Partner with Solutions Architect to produce detailed use cases, data model and architectural roadmaps
Work with the various internal IT groups to integrate solutions components such as custom architecture and enterprise information, scope cost, timeline and understand implications on architecture
Provide guidance and technical leadership on software architecture and design to software development teams by referencing and enforcing standard methodology and approach
Adhere to Enterprise Architecture standards for the company including class diagrams, data models, business domain models, sequence diagrams, use case models and collaboration diagrams
Generate acceptance test requirements with designers, test engineers and user, to determine all high level requirements are met
Writes in collaboration with the Solutions Architect, technical business documents such as software design specifications, system architectures and software requirements specifications
Develop accurate schedule and scope of effort estimates for complex software development projects
Communicate clearly with the Solution Architects and the Relationship Managers

Experience:
BS/BA Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of five (5) years of related professional experience
Minimum of two (2) years of IT project management experience
Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with enterprise methodology practices
Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with Microsoft SQL and .NET
Minimum of two (2) years of managerial experience
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
MS/MA Master's Degree
Current ITIL and PMP Certification
