Works under general supervision to operate and monitors

equipment. Performs routine tasks to maintain computer equipment and their peripherals. Loads peripheral equipment such as tapes and printer paper for operational runs. Observes peripheral equipment and error messages displayed on monitoring devices to detect faulty output, machine or process stoppage or failure. Possesses ability to utilize existing monitoring tools. Must record and route user support calls to appropriate groups for problem resolution. Monitors Data Center environment. Work schedule includes possible ovetime, shift work, weekends and holidays. Performs other duties as assigned.
This position would be required to work night shift and some weekends .
At least 2-3 years experience dependent on educational level.
Proven combination of experiences that demonstrate knowledge of data center operational skills. Associate's degree in information systems or related field or equivalent experience.
